Frequently Asked Questions
Will CHAMP be here in 10 years?
We think so! We've been making software for 20 years now. We have
over 70 customers, many of whom have been with CHAMP for 10 years
or more. We don't get funding from venture capital, and we keep a low
debt load. We listen to customers and don't expand beyond what we
can handle. All these things contribute to our financial stability
and customer satisfaction.

How is your software developed?
Someone gets a great idea for how to help nurses serve clients better,
or how to increase agency reimbursement, and then we work with
our customers to make it happen. Also, customers often send enhancement
requests for current screens and reports, and based on customer demand
and technical
feasibility, we do our best to incorporate their ideas.
How many workstations can CHAMP software
run on?
Our software is scalable from one user to many users, running in
a networked environment. Our current largest agency has it installed
on 60 workstations. We offer competitive pricing based on ranges of
the number of users and modules chosen.
What type of platform does CHAMP software run
on?
- Network solutions require a server running Windows NT Server, Windows
2000 Server, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows XP Professional
- SQL Server Standard or Enterprise is also required; smaller agencies
may be able to use Microsoft SQL Server 2000
Desktop Engine (MSDE)
- We recommend office workstations run Windows® 2000 Professional,
or XP Professional; mobile workstations must run
Windows® 2000
Professional or XP Professional
- Minimum hardware recommendations are available
