Nightingale Notes has been designed to serve the varied needs of our extensive user base. We serve agencies ranging from a handful of users to dozens of users. We have gone to great lengths to build a system offering simplicity in learning and use, but sophistication where desired through the use of customized screens. Most of our Nightingale Notes users are public health agencies.

“With Nightingale Notes, we are able to keep track of all of the billing data for our patients; a task that was challenging for our small start-up school-based health center. By having an electronic charting system, staff are better able to track health history data, ensuring everyone knows the same critical information without sifting through pages of charts. I especially appreciate the technical support Champ provided to helpi us configure Nightingale Notes to fit our scale. As our client load increases, I am confident Nightingale Notes will keep up with our demand.”

How Do the Minnesota Wheel and the Omaha System Relate to Each Other?

By Judy Riemer, MS, RN, PHN, CNS

Many community health agencies ask if the Minnesota Wheel of Public Health Interventions (commonly referred to as the Minnesota Wheel or simply The Wheel) and the Omaha System can be used together in a record or if they represent two different approaches to documenting public health care. "Billing off of NN is really easy! We love that any validation errors are a link and when you click on that link it
takes you directly to the field that needs to be corrected. It makes correcting any billing issues super fast
and easy.

Champ has also been so open to our comments and requests for future enhancements. Each time an
update comes out we notice some changes that we had "wished" for. Each update makes NN an even
better product."

"Nightingale Notes is really terrific and has so much future potential. Our staff has been creating custom
tabs like "crazy". We love that we can take our current paper forms and turn them into an electronic version
andcollect data on a client all in 1 program!! Moving from tab to tab took a little while for staff to get used to
but now they just love it and find it so quick and efficient."
