Technology Humor
Things
you don't want to hear from your customer support representative:
"I'm sorry. My computer is down and I know nothing about anything."
"The number you have reached is no longer in service."
"OK. Is your computer plugged in and is the power switch on?"
"You haven't done a backup for HOW long?"
"No, that is not a cup holder."

Installs finishing up for CHAMP HIPAA Version 2
|
| |
After
a few bumps and snags, the install cycle for CHAMP HIPAA
Version 2 is almost completed (hurray!). We've learned
a lot about Microsoft SQL Server(TM) that should smooth
the way in future months. It's taken patience and perserverence,
and we thank everyone for their involvement in meeting
HIPAA compliance. |

Sales Update
|
| |
In
2003 CHAMP began expanding sales territories from Minnesota
and Wisconsin to a more national base including Arizona,
California, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Missouri. CHAMP
also joined the Home Care Information Technology Council
(HITC) to help agencies understand the value technology
can add to home care practice.
Now in 2004, CHAMP will be traveling to Texas, Oklahoma,
and New Mexico, as well as the states mentioned above.
Also this year, CHAMP welcomes new customers: Riverside
County Public Health, California, and Menasha Health Department,

Tech Tip: Spin Boxes
|
| |
Numeric
spin boxes in HIPAA Version 2 behave differently because
of SQL Server data types. To key numbers instead of scrolling
up, hit the Insert key to change the cursor to a rectangle.
Then left-arrow the number of digits you want to type,
then type the digits. Hit Insert to turn it back on if
you want. |
