HIPAA 5010 Compliance Deadline is Quickly Approaching

You have probably heard that CMS has pushed its January 1^st deadline for HIPAA 5010 compliance back 90 days, to March 31, 2012. However, they are still encouraging providers to push ahead with testing. You can view the CMS statement regarding this change here.

Are you ready for the HIPAA 5010 Changes? Is your software vendor ready?

Does your billing vendor have their software updated with the changes like the 9-digit zip code, and the changes to no longer allow “No” for Release of Information?
